“We have lived in our house for a few years now, and we noticed that one of the rooms had a tendency to get colder than the others on our second floor. We also noticed that even though we had the blinds closed in the summer, our master bedroom would get very hot. A business acquaintance suggested that I give Chris a call to see if there was anything he could do to help. When I spoke with Chris on the phone, he was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. He sent a technician over to do a site inspection and provided a free estimate.
The expert insulation office was very good at communicating with me and sending email reminders. The technicians that came to do the work were very professional, polite and took extra precaution to make sure the hoses didn’t damage any of the drywall corners. After contacting Chris, he came to our home within a day and provided an estimate that was fair and reasonable. After we accepted Chris’s estimate, he immediately worked on scheduling the project around our calendar. Chris scheduled his crew to perform the work on a day and time that was convenient to us.
All work was done professionally and in a timely manner. Upon completion of the project, we were invited to inspect the work prior to closing up the attic. All work was performed as discussed and agreed upon. We were also very pleased that the crew did a good job of cleaning up upon completion of the project (without being asked even!).
In summary, Chris and his staff were very professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and a pleasure to work with.

“We were desperate when we reached out to Expert Insulation Contracting Ltd. We were in the final stage of closing on our house sale; and on the evening before the closing day, we found out (as the buyer did his final walk through) that the previous contractor we hired to do the insulation never actually did the work after we paid them in full.
Chris was the one that came to the rescue. He promptly responded during my search for a new insulation company. Right away he was asking good questions to ensure he understood the scope of the job.
Due to the interesting layout of our attic space, Chris had to visit our old house for further investigation. By that time, our old house is no longer ours, and Chris now has to coordinate with the buyer, buyer’s s agent, us and our realtor, Every. Step. Of. The. Way.
And he was phenomenal.
Chris called before and after the initial visit for the estimate. He took photos and made a full written report highlighting every details of the job as well as the plan of actions. His estimate was more like what you would see in a home inspection report and it was received within the hour he completed the site visit.
We right there and then decided to go with Expert Insulation Contracting Ltd, and the buyer agreed as well (who wouldn't after the professional conduct displayed by Chris).
Chris took care of everything from that point on. He arranged times with the buyer for the two appointments needed to complete our job. Although busy, he kept us informed throughout. When the job was completed (within 7 days of the initial contact), Chris and his crew took multiple photos of the after product with a beautiful invoice detailing how the job was completed. To top everything off, Chris researched hard trying to get us the best rebate he could find from the government energy saving program.
You might think that we had to pay tens of thousands to receive outstanding service like this, but our job is by no mean a “big job” when it comes to the dollar sign. The fact that Chris and his crew spent so much energy and efforts on our old house to ensure that everyone is taken care of demonstrated the level of integrity they upheld in their business; and the care and pride they put forth in their work is paramount.
We recommend Expert Insulation Contracting Ltd wholeheartedly. Our only regret was to not finding them in the first place.

“Chris Ehry, of Expert Insulation Contracting Ltd, was referred to us by a friend for an upgrade in blown-in insulation.
We recently purchased our first home, and with that comes an overwhelming amount of systems to understand and maintain. Thanks to Chris, we shouldn't have to worry about insulation for the foreseeable future!
We were incredibly happy with Chris. His rates were fair and he was very accommodating with his schedule! He provided an exact quote without even seeing the house and went out of his way to find a time and day that worked for us.
When Chris showed up, it took him no time at all to look in the attic and understand and explain all of our needs. We had him blow insulation into two separate attics and it took him no time at all.
Once everything was said and done he took the time to take me into the attic and show me what he had done. He did a very thorough job in explaining the importance of insulation and ventilation. He even went as far as recommending where to place additional ventilation (which is handy as we are getting a new roof soon!).
We are excited to help support a small local business, and are very pleased with the results! He provided a very effective service to increase the 'R' value of our attic at a very economical price. Now we can enjoy our house with its improved heat efficiency and reap the benefit of our future cost savings due to the reduced cost of heating/cooling.

“I am truly happy with the customer service from Expert Insulation Contracting Ltd. Most contractors don't care that you have a family member in ICU. I had to reschedule multiple times because I didn't know if my aunt would die or not. Usually, contractors just drop you and never contact you again. Chris kept in touch with me. He emailed me to ask how my aunt was doing. He never became frustrated over the situation and was always very sincere. He is absolutely amazing!
Today my insulation was completed for my attic. I was shocked and very pleased that they could do it so fast and in one day. The team was so polite and courteous. They were both very personable and let me know exactly what they were doing and when they would finish. The team Chris has is both fast and efficient.
